Classes for Summer 2026

Team Up! Sports Club

Who: Ages: 4-10

What:  This group focuses on building connections, learning self regulation techniques and managing emotions through active play. Participants will enjoy playground games and age appropriate sports while learning game rules, practicing teamwork and developing important social skills. 

Where: Memorial Park Appleton, (meet near Miracle League Field)

When: Mondays from 10:00-11:30

Connect, Play & Create 

Who: Ages: 5-14

What:  A social group that provides a supportive place for kids to explore and connect through creative, sensory, and play-based activities. Activity stations such as crafts, building/creation materials, drawing and doodle areas, and sensory play will be available; allowing participants to engage and follow their interests at their own pace. The focus is on encouraging interaction, creativity, and social engagement.

Cooking Group

Who: Ages 8-18 who have CLTS Waiver or private pay. Cannot accommodate 1:1 at this time.

What: Participants will practice basic cooking skills such as reading recipes, learning about healthy eating habits, cutting, and using an oven and stove top and kitchen safety. Social Skills will be built in naturally each week, along with some planned activities. Themes can include but are not limited to baking, snacks, casseroles, salads/sandwiches, and breakfast foods.

Snacks and Games

Who: ages 7-13 

What: Participants will make a snack and play games. The focus is on building peer relationships through fun, natural interactions in a community setting. Clients will practice social skills, form friendships, and exchange contact information based on shared interests. Staff will support age-appropriate communication and help facilitate connections in a natural, engaging way.

Level Up Game Group

Who: Ages: 5-14

What: This group provides a supportive space for children to connect through play in a fun, low-pressure environment. A variety of games and activities will be available, and participants are free to explore and engage at their own pace with peers. Emphasis is on building skills naturally through shared interests, interaction, communication, game play and fun!

Classes for Spring 2026

Interoception Class

Who: Ages 5-11 with ability to engage in chit chat and who have CLTS Waiver or private pay. Cannot accommodate 1:1 at this time.

What: To increase the client’s ability to notice body signals, targeting the first part of the body-emotion-action connection. Increase the clients ability to match descriptors words to each of the body signals noticed, thus building interoception-related vocabulary important for conceptual understanding as well as communication skills.
